(the nursemaids). In this somewhat landscaped area we find an abundance of holm oaks. The coves we are visiting now: Dels Mussols, Del Peix, Des Cranc, along to Cala Maset, narrow, deep slot-like coves with the distinctive feature that the streams that flow into them favour the growth of holm oaks. It is unusual to find holm oaks just above the coves.
From this lookout point we can see the Punta d'en Pau on the other side of Sant Pol beach. As we leave and follow the path, we pass the holm oak that provides shade for the Cala Des Cranc.
