Description
The Argentona Clay Jug Museum is a new generation equipped museum, with a actualized museographic style, which preserves and spreads an important collection of more than 4,000 water vessels, most of them traditional pottery jugs, that show a journey of almost three thousand years of mankind creation, from the bronze age to contemporary art, with several items from Pablo Picasso.
Besides the permanent collection, the museum dedicates a floor to theme exhibitions on the world of clay jugs and temporary exhibitions room on contemporary artists.
The shop offers publications, reproductions of museum items and a wide range of ceramic products.
