Description
The old Hospital of Sant Miquel was founded in 1773 by the will of Tomàs Vidal i Rei, considered a precursor of the Indians.
The building, of considerable dimensions, consists of a rectangular body of two floors arranged around a cloister. On one of the sides is the chapel dedicated to Sant Miquel, a typical advocacy of the 18th century hospitals in Catalonia. It is worth noting the image of Sant Miquel from the main altar, popular baroque essence, the work of the local workshop of Casa Fuster.
