The lower section of the river Ter platform

Introduction

Situated on the lower section of the Ter, just a few kilometres from its mouth, is this platform for watching river fauna and flora. From here you can see various plant species, both autochthonous and allochthonous (terms which are explained on the information board), and if you are lucky you might spot some birds and if you are particularly lucky, you might even see an otter in one of the river’s meanders or banks. There is also information about how the riverside woodland was strengthened to improve the quality of the environment and encourage the establishment of native species and, as far as possible, remove invasive ones.
