Introduction
In the municipality of Fontanilles, we find this important Romanesque church from the twelfth century. This structure is listed in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. The building has been subject to renovations and additions since the medieval period and the work to fortify the church doubled its original height. It is worth noting that on the front wall there is an impressive bell gable from the baroque period with four openings.
