Introduction
This is an old and short-lived monastic house. In 889 the abbot who founded it received an order of immunity and confirmation of goods and property from King Odo of France. It is now a Romanesque church situated in Fontclara, a village close to Palau-sator in the Baix Empordà region. This monument is listed in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. The apse is decorated with thirteenth-century mural paintings.
