Introduction
The Parc dels Estanys is a 150,000m2 space that was inaugurated in 2012 with the aim of laminating sudden water flooding in torrential rains and avoiding the urban area from flooding. The park also recovered disappeared marshes with the agricultural and urban development of the area. More than 250 species of birds have been observed. The cattle egret has a spectacular winter sleeping zone around there.
