Introduction
Between the rivers Llobregat d'Empordà, on the left, and the Muga, on the right, the original natural features of the plain are the wetlands, which we will later cross, but the settlements of people in growing urban centres, and the agricultural landscape that has been created over the centuries, are of great significance.
