Introduction
The area where we are now is known as the hut of Ca l'Amar, where we can also find some summer houses.
Can Corbera is known as Can Boter, which is the name of the farmer that maintains the cottage works and the exploitation of the fields of cultivation.
The house, built by the architect Enric Catà i Catà, dates from the beginning of the 20th century and was named Villa Mercedes, in honor of the mistress.
Its main function has been to be the summer home of its owners, and although from here we can only see the back, the building has an entrance with a columned porch, in which there is a balcony with balustrades. It also has a fountain and a garden with some outstanding examples of Atlas Cedar, Eucalyptus, Canary Island Palm trees and Cypress of Monterrey.
