Introduction

This imposing house dates to 1650, as it can be seen on the lintel of the main portal with the name of the owner at the time, Miquel Comalada. His main reason to live was grape growing and collecting and you can still see the old wine press with thick wood frame used to squish the grapes into wine. We would like to highlight that on the side the Tower of “Can Comalada” was built as a modernist summer cottage.

Another curiosity to acknowledge inside the building is the discovery of Roman pottery, fragments of tarraconense amphorae and Italic, and Iberian ceramics and building materials.
