Introduction
Going down from the “Bassis” we crossed a mountainous oak forest clearly exposed to the south. We usually find it at lower levels, below the cliffs. Probably taken advantage of for wood for heating homes and making coal years ago. Buxus and laurestine occupy a shallow under-forest where the mosses in the trunks and stones give it a cool look. Now we see it in-front, climbing over the cliffs hardly exceeding the 1000 meter level.
Oak trees splashing the holm oak and small pineapple feathers along with black maple are also present.
