Introduction

Lacerta lepida

We are in the Pedreguets area, very isolated, with not very tall vegetation, open spaces where they can sunbathe, and a variety of shelters where they can hide.

The common lizard is the largest found in Europe, reaching up to 70 cm in length. Young individuals are insectivorous, while adults have an omnivorous diet, feeding on other reptiles such as small lizards, small birds, and small mammals like shrews and mice. On the other hand, their natural predators are the ladder snake and birds of prey.
