Introduction

Can Tries, now adapted as a restaurant under the name Can Feral, is a restored 18th-century farmhouse named after its owner. Its history dates back to the Middle Ages, when the vall de les Canals and the castle of Eramprunyà formed a lush, water-rich landscape known since 1011 as vall Voltrera, meaning “valley of vultures”.

At the restaurant entrance, four red stone columns are preserved, originating from the disappeared hermitage of Sant Llorenç, which once stood nearby and gave its name to the riera.
