Introduction
| We have found the remains of ancient bunkers on the Line P (Defensive Organization of the Pyrenees) in different places on the route. These bunkers are some of the 10,000 initially projected by General Franco (6,000 were completed) to defend the Spanish territory of the possible incursions of the Allied side and the maquis. |
| Franco sought to waterproof the frontier of the enemy invasion, an enemy that after the end of World War II, was more imaginary than real. The construction of these defenses was already obsolete and as of the 60s it was stopped maintaining and they began to be abandoned and oblivion. |
