Introduction
The Camí dels Enginyers GR-11.7 takes us from Núria to the Coma de Vaca refuge. 10 km, 3.5 h, and 350 m of elevation gain.
It seems to owe its name to being the path used by engineers who conducted the study for the creation of a dam on the Freser River, which ended up being abandoned
It is one of the most spectacular paths we can find in this area. Both descending from Coll de les Pedrisses to Coma de Vaca and ascending, it presents airy passages, some with steps or handrails for safety. Although caution is required, the path does not pose any difficulty in good weather and without snow. It's a different story in winter with snow and ice or on foggy days; in those cases, it's advisable to avoid it.
