Introduction
You are in the area of Punta Ventosa where, for many years, there were military defensive batteries positioned here, something which kept the area free from property development. The marine Montgrí comprises a series of imposing sea cliffs pierced by a number of caves, holes and shafts which mean that if we took a cross section of the massif, it would look like a Swiss cheese. The views in front of you are spectacular, starting with Punta Milà, Cala Montgó and Torre Montgó in the foreground, and with Roses and Cap de Norfeu behind them.
