Introduction
The “Costa Brava” name is a relatively recent creation. This naming was invented by the journalist and writer Ferran Agulló (Sant Feliu de Guíxols, 1863 - Santa Coloma de Farners, 1933), alias Pol. Agulló used it writing for the first time in an article published in La Voz de Catalunya on the 12th of September, 1908.
