Introduction

A desert in winter, an ant’s nest of people in summer. The cove of Canyelles Petites is a beach of fine golden sand. The waters are transparent and the sea bed sandy. Its orientation makes it sheltered from the Tramuntana wind and it is relatively calm on the days when this wind blows.

At this point we begin to see the islets and rocks that appear in front of the coast. First we find els Brancs, right in front of the beach. Further on, the Omella and Ullastrell headlands will offer us two wondferful spots to take a dip, when the weather is right.
