Introduction
Although we have long been climbing the beautiful Costa path, it is at this point where cart tracks are evident. Notice where the ground on which the path runs is natural rock, you can see where the wheels have worn the rock as they passed. The road was much wider than it is today.
As far as the vegetation is concerned, the junipers start to appear, a shrub with small pointed leaves which have two white stripes on the front side. Present in coastal environments together with myrtle, which is almost non-existent today (you will find some before crossing the stream; it looks much like box).
We can see the watchtowers above Cala Montjoi and that of Cap de Norfeu behind us.
