Introduction
On the side of the path we find pools where the wild boar give themselves mud baths to remove parasites. The dampness of this slope causes water to seep out in places where we can find salamanders (black and yellow).
Notice the difference between the vegetative landscape on the sunny (opposite) side and the shady (our) side.
The shrubs near the road are the ericas, particularly in the shade, which are the transition towards the holm oak. In the dry sunny spots, there are the remains of terraces where the vines give way to scrub with mastic trees, grey-leaved cistus, rosemary, cantueso and scattered cork oaks.
