"Cala des cranc” cove

Introduction

If you look over the wall (before entering the tunnel), you'll see a quay that is accessed from the Tunnel lookout point. You'll also see the small, deep, narrow Des Cranc cove, with fine sand and sheltered by the holm oak.

All of these coves are ideal for practising snorkelling. Depths of 2 to 40 metres, very clear water with little sediment and an abundance of underwater reefs favour a wide range of marine fauna. We can find 90% of the species that can be observed in the Mediterranean. Sunfish, cephalopods (octopuses, cuttlefish and squid), beautiful nudibranchs and all types of fish for which this protected reef area is their shelter or breeding area.
