Introduction
A pretty bay with shallow waters, 770m long, with fine sand from the two streams that flow into it: the Sant Pol stream first and the S'Agaró stream further to the North. The sector still retains the last coastal dune formations of the Costa Brava.
The modernist architectural houses along the promenade are worth noting. The house we find on arriving by the Camino de Ronda is the Casa Estrada, built between 1890 and 1912. The eight towers of the façade are the reason it is known as "el xalet de les punxes".
