Introduction
We are now in the Mascanada area, where the Les Comes stream crosses through. The abundant groundwater would emerge at various fountains, mines, wells and windmills. The deeper, more fertile soil, enriched by the sediment brought by the stream and the flat areas along the edges, made this place suitable for the establishing of agricultural life. For this reason, we find various farms along the edge of the stream until we reach Can Assols. We pass below Mas Panarro, where crops are still grown and before arriving, we can see two pretty holm oak and cork oak specimens, catalogued at the local level. Next to this is Can Damià and later, we find Mas Abric. At the end, below the Les Comes mountain range, is Mas Assols.
