Introduction
The pine that is on the other side of the stream, is the highest tree in the entire Cadiretes massif with a height of 23 m and a 4.5 m perimeter.
The water of the stream and its 250 or 300 years have allowed it to reach this size.
The Greeks brought the pines to the peninsula and have been used since ancient times for their timber, the precious pine nuts and because they help to fix the soil, especially in areas with dunes. It has also been used to make replantation in deforested areas.
