Introduction
We are about to reach a pole that indicates change of direction, there is a growing ginesta linifolia, or “ginestell” de Tossa, a rare papyrus in the world and that only in Catalonia is located in the massif of Ardenya-Cadiretes and to the Gavarres.
It also grows in other parts of the western Mediterranean.
It has been cultivated both for its beauty and its properties to fix nitrogen to the soil. This happens thanks to a symbiosis with some bacteria and is used to recover degraded soils.
