Introduction
Ca l'Utzet was owned by Mr. Vidal, dedicated to the industry. He had three daughters. One of them was married to a pharmacist from Lloret named Frederic Utzet, which is the surname by which the house is known.
Eulàlia Cabot, Vidal's widow, assigned Salvador Puiggròs, architect of many houses in Barcelona, to build the house in 1907.
Before arriving at the door there is a wrought iron grille that combines with the pillars crowned with tile friezes. The entrance door has a segmental arch, and next to it you will find two large windows with gently pointed arches.
On the first floor there is a balcony, wrought iron window boxes and three elongated windows with tile decoration.
The house stands out not only for its exterior, but also for its interior, with a wrought iron railing between floors, pavements with a variety of ceramics of the period, and doors and windows with leaded glass with vegetal and geometric decoration.
