Description

Discovered in 1914 by Dr. Ignasi Melé, the Roman villa of the Almond trees (1st century BC - 6th century AD) is one of the most important in the ancient province of Tarraco. Especially dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards and to the exportation of high quality wine, it is a classic example of agricultural exploitation in the Roman Mediterranean.
