Description
Located in the renovated building of the old train station. For 75 years (1894-1969) Amer enjoyed a railroad service that united it with Olot and Girona. The buildings of the station and the loading dock, already restored, are part of a unique architectural heritage complex within Catalonia. They currently work as a tourist information office.
With the collaboration of the “Vies Verdes de Girona” they offer services and equipment that promote leisure and bicycle tourism. The old station is equipped with toilets, bicycle parking, bicycle washing point, bicycle rental and approved helmets, bicycle repair, guiding and accompaniment service, bicycle transportation service, playground, picnic tables and approved as a BTT / FCC Catalunya Center or reception point.
