Introduction
Albatros, La Ballena Alegre, El Toro Bravo, Les Filipines… Up to a dozen campsites along the seafront of the Llobregat delta hosted more than 20,000 campers at the end of the 20th century. Most of these establishments were set up in the late 1950s and early 1960s, coinciding with the rise of Spain as a sun-and-beach tourist destination.
