Introduction
We invite you to follow this itinerary starting from the Parc de la Marina, along the cycle and pedestrian path that connects the city with the coast. The route is suitable for all audiences. The elevation gain is almost nonexistent and completely flat, and you will pass through the traditional crops of the Parc Agrari and the Delta del Llobregat. Upon reaching the beaches, you will enjoy a dune landscape that preserves plant and animal communities typical of coastal sandy areas, a true reservoir of biodiversity.
Our beaches are one of the municipality’s many natural assets and offer the opportunity to enjoy a dune landscape stretching from the mouth of the llacuna del Remolar, integrated into the Espai Natural del Remolar, to the llacuna de la Murtra. You will also find an extensive protected pine forest of pi pinyoner, running parallel to the coastline.
This is a technically easy itinerary. Comfortable by bicycle, but more demanding on foot, as it covers 13 km round trip.

Description
The itinerary begins heading south from the Parc de la Marina de Viladecans. We pass through the paratge de Ca l’Alemany, where the Viladecans The Style Outlets shopping centre is currently located. We then continue along the B-204, entering the Parc Agrari and enjoying views over the entire delta, until reaching the roundabout of the Marina del Portell de la Llana, where an important archaeological site is located.
After the roundabout and the old road to València (also known as the Camí Ral), we cross to the left side, where the adapted path leads us to Cal Simon, which a few metres past the farmhouse connects with the Camí de les Filipines. This entire section is now known as the Camí del Mar.
We continue south to the next roundabout and follow the signposts to the platja de Viladecans on the right. After crossing the C-31, we take the following roundabout and leave the cycle path, following the signs towards the beaches. Here we find a barrier that prohibits vehicle access along the path that crosses the forest of la Pineda towards the beach.
If you are cycling, it is recommended to follow the paved road towards the pàrquing de la Murtra and then return via la Pineda. If you are walking, you may choose whichever option you prefer. From the platja de la Pineda, you can reach the platja de la Murtra via the reredunes path that runs alongside the former càmping de les Filipines. You can then return by retracing the same route or by following the track loop.
To return to Viladecans, simply follow the same route back.
Tips
ROUTE
Flat route with no technical difficulty. Long if done on foot.
Always alongside the Euro Velo 8 cycle path until the roundabout after the C-31.
At the barrier on the forest path of la Pineda, you can choose to complete the track loop or go first to the beaches of la Pineda and then la Murtra, returning afterwards.
If cycling, it is recommended to complete the loop anticlockwise in order to reach the platja de la Murtra first, following the direction of vehicle traffic.
On the rereduna path between the two beaches, there is a short stretch of loose sand. Cyclists may need to dismount.
WATER
Bring water with you.
