Introduction
Enter the Montgrí Massif and follow the road from l’Escala to l’Estartit. Cars are not allowed on it in the summer months (June to September). From here there is a kilometre of climbing, so save your energy and do not go too quickly; it is better to rest and carry on when you have your breath back and have rested your legs.
