Introduction
Farmhouse in ruins of which the walls are only preserved. The bushes and other vegetation have conquered the space and accessing is impossible. From here the view over the Sobirans’ valley is magnificent, the river basin occupies 60% of the territory of Arenys de Munt.
Surrounding this height, about 400 meters, we find the ruins of which were important houses for Arenys de Munt: Can Jaume Alzina, Can Cintet, Can Quel, Reixach, El Corral d'en Forn, and La Casanova. These farmhouses were the one in charge of the valley while the forest yielded a certain yield, towards the 50s, however, the abandonment of the forestry work was accompanied by the depopulation of the farmhouses, and with them a life style was finished: Electricity never reached this point.
