Introduction
The name of the fountain was given when surrounded by vineyards, near the mine, there were chestnuts, today we have pines and some oaks. The fountain is about 30 meters beneath the mouth of the “mica” and it just gives little water. It had not been like this, when channelled it went to washing room of the house, located on the other side of the Clarà stream, taking advantage of the great altitude difference.
