Introduction
A stream is a sandy bed that carries water only occasionally as a result of heavy rain or long rainy periods.
At this point we want to highlight the importance of streams in our region:
1. It channels the water and prevents it from traveling too fast.
2. It recharges the aquifers in the zone.
3. They redistribute sand and sediment along the river course and beaches.
4. Biological and ecological value. Generating ecosystems around them, both vegetation growing on the banks, such as biological corridors that connect different areas: mountain areas, crops and beach areas.
