LLORER FOUNTAIN

Introduction

The “Llorer” founatin was recovered by the Group Sources Argentona in 1986 but apparently has remained dry for quite some time now. Located next to one of the ravines descending from the plain of the “Espinal”, gullies named accordingly, is surrounded by forests of oak and pine. Ground level exceeds a tile rectangle that could be part of an old laundry room or tank intended to collect water, now completely covered with soil.

Just above the fountain has grown a fig tree that gives shade in summer and fruits at the end of summer. This tree, contrary to what it may seem, is originally from Minor Asia, but is very naturalized in our home.
