Introduction

Vulpes vulpes

We have a QR nearby. On the right side, we look at the last oak trees near the track, before reaching the fields. Of the two biggest ones there, one has a dry branch. Look at the trunk from behind.

Among the carnivorous mammals that frequent the open spaces, we highlight the fox due to its abundance.
This canid of the size of a medium dog moves in the evening and at night, and spends the day hidden in bushes or in burrows. It feeds on rabbits, hares, mice, rats, birds, fish, moles and insects although it also eats eggs, fruit and food scraps from landfills. It has an excellent sense of smell and marks territory with its urine.

It is an animal rooted in different cultures and the main character of children's literature and popular mythology. He is considered intelligent, cunning and has a reputation based on trying to deceive others.
