Introduction
Among the birds of prey that we can find flying over this place, the most abundant is the common vulture (photo 1), but we can also see the peregrine falcon (photo 4), the marc eagle (photo 3), or the buzzard (photo 2).
The smallest of the European vultures, the griffon vulture can be distinguished from the common vulture by its size, white color and wedge-shaped tail. It is a migratory bird that spends the winters in Africa and visits us in the summer. It feeds mainly on the remains of dead animals, other types of waste and is also very fond of eggs.
Other birds, typical of the cliffs, are the crossbill and the rocker, the latter forming colonies on the rocks.
