Introduction
Documented as early as the 13th century, it was reformed during the 18th century, possibly by the heir of the neighboring Mas Novelles. The year 1868 can be seen on the bell tower.
The atrium of the church (covered in front of the church), collapsed in 1966 and later redone by the residents of Tavertet, was originally a common (a small building in the form of a covered porch and open to the four winds, with the function of protecting the priest from storms and hail), according to the City Council the only one that exists in Collsacabra.
Inside, the altar is presided over by the images of Sant Corneli and Sant Cebrià. The gathering (aplec) of Sant Corneli is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
Be sure to visit the dolmen you will find behind the church.
