Introduction
This important drainage channel crosses both the Parc Agrari and the municipality, originating in the eastern foothills of the Ordal-Garraf range. Known as the riera de Sant Climent or riera de Viladecans, its course historically coincided with the town road until the 16th century.
In the early 1990s, the stream was channelled from the C-31 road to the sea, becoming a canal running parallel to the braç de la Vidala within the Remolar-Filipines wetland.
