Index card

Introduction

Here, in the lower part of the range, in the les Oliveretes sector, the agricultural past of the municipality is most clearly perceived. We will walk among rows of carob trees, fig trees and some olive trees. Vineyards have been one of the traditional crops of Viladecans since Iberian times.

The Romans built true country houses, known as villas, such as the Villa of Sales, where archaeological excavations uncovered important structures linked to the exploitation and trade of wine, as well as material elements related to cereal processing.
