Introduction
We are in the area known as les Parellades, the fertile lands closest to the town, a transitional space leading towards the waterlogged lands of today’s Parc Agrari. This means they were among the first to be cultivated, as early as the 10th century.
What is now carrer de la Tecnologia was formerly the carrera Llobatona, an important livestock route.
Urban development at the edge of the town gave rise to industrial land, but also to new housing and green spaces, improving quality of life for residents and the wider population.
It is the largest park in the municipality, featuring a wide range of facilities (stages, auditoriums, play areas, etc.), more than 600 trees, and an aromatic plant garden.
