Introduction
The neighbouring municipality of Sant Boi is divided into twelve sub-basins, among which the Riera Roja, covering 144 hectares, is the largest. Hence its width.
In addition to draining the Sant Boi catchments, it also receives drainage corredoras. It runs alongside the basses de Can Dimoni and carries water past the airport into the wetlands, towards the séquia de la Vidala and then to the Estany del Remolar, which connects with the sea.
