Introduction
We suggest continuing straight ahead through the forest of Can Pere Trius.
In this corner we find beautiful dry-stone walls, in this case made of red sandstone, very different from the rock found in the upper part of the route.
They are witnesses of the agricultural past mentioned earlier and also have an important ecological function, since, like the insect hotels we have seen, these walls provide shelter for reptiles (lizards), snakes and small mammals (mice and weasels). The stone, when warmed by the sun, helps them regulate their body temperature, as they are cold-blooded animals.
