Introduction
In front of us, where the flood-control basin is now located, once stood the Molí d’en Sobiracs. Built in 1802, it made use of water from a nearby spring and mine beside the riera de Sant Llorenç.
Throughout the 20th century, the mill and the mine were used at least until the 1940s, after which they were gradually abandoned.
