Introduction
This green corridor is especially welcoming to birds that move up and down the elm canopy. These are mainly small forest birds, although other species may appear in meadows and open spaces.
If you sit for a while, you will likely observe this leaf-dwelling life: groups of tits foraging for insects and small shoots. The great tit is the largest, but the blue tit and the small tit are also present. In the upper canopy during spring, you can hear the song of the blackbird perched on the highest branch. Other birds include the lovely chaffinch and the strong greenfinch.
