Introduction
Parc de la Marina is a large resilient green space at the end of the Riera de Sant Climent ecological corridor in Viladecans, spanning 16 hectares integrating recreation, biodiversity, and water management.
Located at the southern end of the riera, its topographic and plant design transforms a peripheral area into a city park. There are five differentiated zones: a natural amphitheater (large outdoor stage); a fairground plaza (partially bordered by a photovoltaic pergola); a children’s play area; an oloretum on aromatic terraces acting as seating; and a pine grove, a shaded rest and picnic area.
Upstream, behind poplars, lies part of the old Rierot Wall (18th–19th century), relocated during the construction of Vilamarina Shopping Center and rebuilt near the riera.
