Introduction
Preexisting pines and carob trees are central here, alongside shade plane trees, linden and acacias in the woodland area, and date palms and cypresses in the children’s zone.
The pine grove with oak and mastic undergrowth represents the post-vineyard forest landscape surrounding the old town, now enclosed by urban growth. Carob trees are another example, with the hardiest still visible along Avinguda de la Fraternitat.
