Introduction
The park land once belonged to one of Viladecans’ oldest estates, centered around Torre-roja (12th century), a magnificent building flanking one of the three park entrances. Nearby, a bronze sculpture, The Baseball Glove, honors local baseball players.
The 44,000 m² park was one of the first green spaces in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area Parks Network, which maintains it.
Features include a pond, flower gardens, log stacks, and insect hotels, all with differentiated biotopes to enhance biodiversity.
