Introduction
There are many water springs in the Selva region, some ponds, other wetlands, and others in the form of mineral, thermal and carbonic fountains.
In Amer there are about 100 fountains, although it is difficult to know the exact number because some end up drying and disappearing due to lack of maintenance. Most of these fountains are located near waterways or in mountain areas.
Among the many fountains, it is worth noting the Picant Fountain for its carbonic properties, Pudosa del Colomer Fountain and Carlins Fountain, among many others.
Many fountains have been restored by a group of Amer’s inhabitants.
