Introduction
The geology of Amer is complex, it is one of the places of Catalonia with the most possibilities to have an earthquake, because it is still an active fault that produced the great seismic movements of the year 1427, the sample of this activity is the Pudosa Fountain, which emits gases from the ground.
The silicic plant species that we have been finding indicate that the acidity of the soil is high, or in other words, that the soil here is silicic.
This rock outcrop confirms it, as there is filita (stone leaves in Greek), a metamorphic foliate rock, with a degree of metamorphism between the blackboard and mica schists, is black, or gray, gray-green.
